Hi, I’m Alexis Rosario. I'm an artist, a lifelong crafter, and the hands behind Rosario Made Candle Company.
Some of my favorite childhood memories are of going to craft shows with my mom. She always made a beeline for the candles, and through her, I developed my own love for them. Not just as something that smells nice, but as little moments of comfort, creativity, and home.
As an artist, I’ve always been passionate about creating experiences through my work. With Rosario Made, I’ve found a way to bring that vision to life, by combining fragrance, color, and a hand-painted design into each candle I make. My goal is to spark joy through scent and visual art, and I’m happy to share that with you.

Instead of following traditional candle collections, I’ve taken a more artistic, pigment-based approach. Each collection is inspired by a single color, a pigment, and every candle within that collection is a unique interpretation of it. The wax and hand-painted labels are designed to reflect and celebrate the chosen shade, offering a full sensory experience that’s both visual and aromatic.
Collections will continue to grow over time, evolving with new scent and color pairings as I explore more ways to bring pigment to life through candles. Perfect for those who are decorative at heart and drawn to color as a form of expression.

Every candle begins with an idea. Once the concept takes shape, I ask myself: how could I paint that? And then, I do.
At Rosario Made Candle Co, my goal is to create an immersive experience that goes beyond scent. I want each candle to engage your senses visually as well. One day while shopping for candles, I realized how uninspired I felt by the same repetitive, generic designs. That moment sparked a shift.
Now, behind every high-quality label is an original, hand-painted piece of art that's created by me, specifically for that candle. Each one is meant to tell a story, evoke a feeling, and turn something as everyday as a candle into a tiny work of art.
Hand-Poured Candles
Hand-Poured with a Rustic Touch
Every Rosario Made candle is crafted entirely by hand. I use a custom wax blend, carefully developed for rich, even fragrance throw and a clean, lasting burn. Each scent is thoughtfully selected and blended to reflect the feeling of its collection’s color, then added at the perfect temperature to bind evenly throughout the wax. Once the fragrance is set, the color is added and this creates a candle that’s as visually expressive as it is aromatic.
Finally, each candle is hand-poured into signature paint can tins, giving it a rustic, artful charm that feels one-of-a-kind. No machines. No shortcuts. Just the simple, satisfying beauty of handmade.
